The City of Emeryville recently adopted the Fair Workweek Ordinance, which sets scheduling requirements for certain retail employers. The ordinance will become effective on July 1, 2017. Currently the City is in the process of developing regulations and procuring consultant services to enhance the City’s capacity for implementation and enforcement of the labor standards created by the Fair Workweek Ordinance.
